Exceptional staff, perfect location, stunning views.

Had a fab time! The location is spot on for enjoying the harbour views and the live music downstairs on weekends adds a lovely touch. The room was super clean, with a cozy vibe. Plus, the view from our Twin Room really made the stay special.

The room offered a lovely view and was immaculate, with great access to the harbour. Live music added charm, but it could get noisy when busy. The location suited my visit perfectly, although the bathroom was on the smaller side. a pleasant experience with friendly staff.

I loved how close I was to the sandy beach, just a five-minute walk away, and I enjoyed my leisurely walks to see the Folkestone Mermaid, which was only a few steps from the hotel.

Had a fantastic stay in a Double Room with Sea View! The views of the harbour were stunning, and the room was impeccably clean and cozy. The entrance through the back door felt secure and private. Val at check-in was extremely friendly and shared great tips about local parking, which made everything easy for us.

My stay was delightful! The stunning harbor view from the Double Room with Sea View captivated me. Clean, cozy atmosphere and helpful staff made it even better. A minor inconvenience was the noise from the pub below, but it didn't overshadow my experience.

The pub had a fantastic atmosphere and the food was surprisingly good for the price. While enjoying some live music in the evenings, I really appreciated the comfy beds for a good night's sleep. Parking can be a hassle after 8am, but it was manageable for our early plans! 😊

Amazing stay with great staff!

We’ve been here a few times now, and it’s always a great visit. The staff are super friendly, and the place is spotless. We love chilling at the bar area too! The only thing is, the beds are a bit firmer than we like, but we still slept well. Thanks to Trish and the team for making our stay special!

The Ship Inn Folkestone had a charming decor with flower-adorned entrances, adding to its quaint atmosphere. The location along the harbour offered stunning views, making walks delightful. The staff were incredibly attentive, ensuring I felt comfortable throughout my stay.

Limited parking options could be improved.

i stayed here for one night with a group and was pleasantly surprised by the quaint charm of the place. the back entrance with flowers was lovely, and the fishing pier right out front made our beach walks enjoyable. the location was peaceful, providing a perfect setting for a relaxing getaway.

wi-fi was unreliable during our stay.

It was just an ideal choice for a brief hiatus in Folkestone with attractive and competitive value for money. The narrow staircase was funny while packing our large bags, it made the trip memorable. Consider packing light if you can.

The Ship in Folkestone served up a culinary delight with their lush gluten-free dishes, and I can't forget the tasty fish and chips. The staff were ever so friendly, and the location was superb for exploring the town.

The only downside was the limited parking options nearby, which can be a bit pricey.
